Two lectures being presented in Stamford, CT and NYC
Williams, Oregon, September 5, 2008 –– In his first area appearance in several years, Ed Smith, popularly known as "Herbal Ed," will be presenting a lecture and slideshow entitled “Using Herbs to Optimize Physical, Athletic & Sexual Performance.” Topics will include:
• Herbs and super foods that support and enhance physical and athletic performance and endurance.
• Herbs that strengthen and repair muscles, ligaments and tendons.
• Herbs and super foods that enhance sexual health, fertility, performance and stamina.
The first lecture will be held on Sunday, October 19th from 3:00-5:00 PM at Tommy K Vitamins located at 54 Research Drive in Stamford, Connecticut. Due to limited seating, advance registration is required by calling Ellen at 203-325-9544.

As an internationally respected teacher and lecturer on herbs and herbal healthcare, Ed's work and teachings incorporate old-world herbal folk wisdom with modern herbal science. Ed has been working as a medical herbalist for over 30 years and is co-founder and owner of Herb Pharm, an organic herb farm and herbal extract company located in Williams, Oregon. Ed is the author of the “Therapeutic Herb Manual” and will be doing a series of book signings in various locations in both Connecticut and New York.
Along with Sara Katz, Ed Smith co-founded Herb Pharm in 1979 in Williams, Oregon.
